Church Committees: Parish Organizations & Activities:
  • Greek School: The six grade levels meet to learn the Greek language and heritage.

  • Sunday School: Sunday School strives to teach our children the Greek Orthodox faith. Students understand the history, beliefs and active participation of our liturgies.

  • Endowment Fund Marketing: An ongoing fundraiser. Gift certificates are purchased from Stop & Shop, Shop Rite and Stew Leonard's and then sold to our parishioners. These certificates are then used as cash in payment of groceries; the Church receives 5% to 10% of every dollar in certificates that parishioners purchase.

  • GOYA (Greek Orthodox Youth of America): Ages of 12 to 18. Through activities, our youths examine different aspects of their orthodox faith and have the opportunity to meet other young members of parish.

  • JOY(Junior Orthodox Youth): Pre-teen children's group, meets on a monthly basis for their activities in a wholesome Christian atmosphere. Access the Junior JOY 2006-2007 Calendar.

  • Little Angels: A pre-school children's group that meets once a month.

  • Athletic Teams: Basketball teams for our youth are led by volunteer coaches. The teams participate in the Connecticut Orthodox Basketball League, with other area churches, encouraging fun, fellowship, good sportsman-ship and participation in the life of the church.

  • Altar Boys Society: Young men assist Fr. Nicholaos and serve our Lord, as Altar boys, during Church services.
